Not all de-icing or anti-icing jobs are 50 miles of interstate highway. Some contractors specialize in treating intersections and bridges. Hospitals, shopping malls, office buildings, manufacturing plants, parks, all have parking lots, sidewalks and service roads that need treatment to increase safety and access when snow and ice occur. These same businesses also need equipment for vegetation management during warmer seasons. The Wylie De-Icing/Anti-Icing Skids and Trailers can provide that year round versatility while maximizing your budget. The Wylie de-icing/anti-icing sprayers are available in 100, 200, 300 and 500 gal. sizes. The units feature the Ace GE650 centrifugal pump powered by a manual or electric start Honda engine. The de-icing sprayers can be controlled by a Raven SCS 11K electric controller or a Raven DCS 400 automatic controller. Also included are a hand crank hose reel, 200’ of high pressure hose and a Hypro Long Throw trigger gun. A 7½’ boom easily mounts to the receiver hitch of the pickup or to the rear of the trailer making setup simple and quick. Nozzles are available in fan or straight stream patterns for a full 11’ lane de-icing coverage.
